WHAT OTHER LEADERS HAVE SAID

All I can say is WOW. Giving women a safe place to share their secret stories has been better than I even imagined. I feel like I have been stretched as well as I can see new relationships beginning. Total strangers have entered my home and sat and told their story. We have only had two meetings and yet women are opening up with just the discussion questions. Thank you for writing this study guide and facilitators handbook. It’s perfect!

Tracy

STORIESx8 is a beautiful and powerful journey. I completed this 8-week program with 7 other women, all in different stages of life and from a variety of backgrounds. We were each deeply impacted by the freedom we found in sharing our life stories with others. The truths Anne shares about confession and emotions were insightful and impactful for each of us. I can’t wait to go on this journey again and I highly recommend it. Everyone has a story and there is immeasurable freedom in sharing that story!

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is STORIESx8 for?

STORIESx8 is for every woman that wants to discover the freedom that comes from a lifestyle of confession. We've had women from ages 20 to 75 participate. The purpose is to provide women with an opportunity to share their story and work through the situations that keep us stuck.

While it is an experience that applies to all women, we don't recommend having a group with women under 18.

I've never led anything! Can I still be a Community Leader?

Yes! We designed the group in a way that any woman can lead. We also provide you with many resources like our Leader Guide and Leader Portal to help you get started. You can do this!

How do I become an official STORIESx8 Community Leader?

After you purchase either the Leader or Group Kit, you'll receive an email with a link to register. It takes less than two minutes. Even if you don't have all the info, that's okay. Fill in what you can.

Can't find the email? Check your spam folder, and if you still can't find it reach out to us at . We'll help you get set up.

How may times can I lead a group?

You can lead a STORIESx8 group as many times as you want. In fact, we hope you lead it more than once.

After you've led it once, you can also help mentor other women who might want to lead a group themselves.

Is there a cost to be a Community Leader?

The only cost associated with leading a group is the initial purchase of supplies. You'll need to buy a Leader or Group Kit and each woman will need one workbook, which you can purchase for them or they can purchase on their own. Visit our shop to purchase group materials.

How many women can participate in the small group?

We've learned through trial and error that STORIESx8 works best with eight women at a time (1 leader + 7 additional participants). The workbook is designed to be completed over eight weeks or sessions, which also allows each of the eight women an opportunity to share her story. Including more than eight women will extend the overall length of the experience, which leads to a loss of interest. That being said, it can be done with more or less than eight women.

I'd like to do this with a large group. Do you have any recommendations?

If you have a large group that you'd like to do this with, we recommend starting together each session as an entire group to watch the videos and then breaking into smaller groups of 7-8 for the remainder of that week's session. (It's important that each group has a private place to meet.) If you have questions about how to organize and run the group with larger amounts of women, please contact our team at . We'd be happy to help you get set up for success.

How are churches incorporating STORIESx8 into their structure?

Churches are using STORIESx8 in their small groups, just like they would any small group curriculum. Some churches have Anne come speak at their women's events as a kick-off to starting STORIESx8.

Where are other leaders hosting their groups?

We believe every woman has an area of influence where she is a leader. This may be her neighborhood, church, university, or place of business, to name a few. Women are leading groups in all of these areas and more. You don't have to host it through a church or organization. It's as simple as gathering the women in your home and going through the workbook together and sharing your stories.

Do you have resources for group Leaders?
Yes, each STORIESx8 Kit comes with a Leader Guide that is based on best practices we've learned by taking hundreds of women through the experience. In addition, we have helpful resources in the online Leader Portal including promotional materials, FAQs with Anne, and more!
How do I access the weekly videos and Leader Portal?

After you purchase a Leader or Group Kit, you'll receive instructions via email on how to set up your Leader Portal account. In the Leader Portal, you can access the videos and resources. Once you've created your account, you can log into your Leader Portal by visiting storiesx8.com/lead.
